Hello!
I decided to redraw an old fanart from 2012 (here’s a link to the old one here: fav.me/d4w8k64 ) and WOW I improved a lot in the last 4 years! Though now when I look at the old drawing I cringe so much that I wanna fling myself into the sun. If you don’t know who she is, she’s Shura Kirigakure from my favourite manga Ao no Exorcist (aka Blue Exorcist).
This drawing was a struggle from start to finish and it made me realise how rusty I am when it comes to lineart and soft shading. I really prefer painting but I do want to draw better lineart (especially if I want to make a webcomic someday).
